The Packers have won three straight to get to 5-2, and yet find themselves looking up in the standings in the NFC North at the Lions and Vikings, both of whom are 5-1 on the year. The Packers are in line for their sixth win of the season with a trip to Jacksonville to take on the woeful 2-5 Panthers. Look for Jordan Love and the Packers’ air attack to have a big day on Sunday against one of the worst passing defenses in the league.

The Packers and Jaguars kick off in Jacksonville at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT) on Fox. Here’s how you can watch, even if the game isn’t available on your local Fox channel.

Packers vs. Jaguars game today: When and where?

This matchup sees the Jaguars host the Packers at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT) on Sunday. The game will take place at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida, home of the Jaguars.

How to watch the Packers vs. Jaguars game online from anywhere using a VPN

If you find yourself unable to view the game locally due to incorrectly applied blackout restrictions, you may need a different way to watch the game and that’s where using a VPN can come in handy. A VPN is also the best way to stop your ISP from throttling your speeds on game day by encrypting your traffic, plus it’s a great idea for when you’re traveling and find yourself connected to a Wi-Fi network, and you want to add an extra layer of privacy for your devices and logins.

With a VPN, you’re able to virtually change your location on your phone, tablet or laptop to get access to the game. So if your internet provider or mobile carrier has stuck you with an IP address that incorrectly shows your location in a blackout zone, a VPN can correct that problem by giving you an IP address in your correct, nonblackout area. Most VPNs, like our Editors’ Choice, ExpressVPN, make it really easy to do this.

Using a VPN to watch or stream sports is legal in any country where VPNs are legal, including the US and Canada, as long as you’ve got a legitimate subscription to the service you’re streaming. You should be sure your VPN is set up correctly to prevent leaks: Even where VPNs are legal, the streaming service may terminate the account of anyone it deems to be circumventing correctly applied blackout restrictions.

ExpressVPN is our current best VPN pick for people who want a reliable and safe VPN, and it works on a variety of devices. It’s normally $13 a month, but if you sign up for an annual subscription for $100 you’ll get three months free and save 49%. That’s the equivalent of $6.67 a month with code SPECIALDEAL, which should be automatically applied.

Note that ExpressVPN offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.

How to watch Packers vs. Jaguars in the US

Sunday’s Packers vs. Jaguars game is on Fox nationally. The good news for football fans is that Fox is available on most of the major live TV streaming services. The least expensive such service is Sling TV Blue.

Sling/CNET

Sling TV’s Blue plan includes NBC, Fox and the NFL Network, though it does not have CBS, ABC or ESPN. Enter your address here to see which local channels are available where you live. NFL RedZone is also available for an extra $11 a month.

Note that to get ABC and ESPN, you’ll need to switch to the similarly priced Orange plan (which drops Fox, NBC and NFL Network) or go for the combined $60 a month Orange and Blue bundle that includes channels from both packages. With the combined plan, the Sports Extra add-on, which has RedZone, is an extra $15 a month.

One important caveat: In our experience, Fox local affiliates will only be available if your billing address is in one of the 18 metropolitan areas covered in Sling’s agreement. If you’re outside of one of these areas, you’re probably better off going with one of the alternate services listed below.

Numerous other live TV streaming services carry local Fox stations as well, namely YouTube TV, Hulu Plus Live TV, DirecTV Stream and Fubo. They all cost far more than Sling, but they also carry a full complement of live channels, including football broadcasting channels like CBS and ESPN. Check out our live TV streaming services guide for details.

For $73 a month, you’ll get all the major football channels with YouTube TV. Plus, RedZone is available for an extra $11 per month. Plug in your ZIP code on YouTube TV’s welcome page to see which local networks are available in your area.

Fubo

Fubo costs at least $92 per month when you factor in the RSN fees it charges, which you don’t need for NFL games but must pay for anyway. Fubo’s base plan costs $80 but it charges an extra $12 a month if you get one RSN or $15 a month if you have two or more in your area. RedZone is available for an extra $11 per month, and you can get 4K broadcasts with its $90-a-month Elite plan. It’s worth noting that Fubo has recently introduced a new $30 off for the first month offer for its Pro, Elite With Sports Plus and Deluxe plans. Click here to see which local channels you get in your region with Fubo. Read our Fubo review.

DirecTV

All the live TV streaming services above offer free trials, allow you to cancel anytime and require a solid internet connection. Looking for more information? Check out our live TV streaming services guide.

An over-the-air antenna connected to your TV provides another option for Fox. The best part about antennas is that there are no streaming or monthly fees required, although you will need to make sure you have good reception.

Quick tips for streaming the Packers vs. Jaguars game using a VPN

  • With four variables at play — your ISP, browser, video streaming provider and VPN — experience and success may vary.
  • If you don’t see your desired location as a default option for ExpressVPN, try using the “search for city or country” option.
  • If you’re having trouble getting the game after you’ve turned on your VPN and set it to the correct viewing area, there are two things you can try for a quick fix. First, log into your streaming service subscription account and make sure the address registered for the account is an address in the correct viewing area. If not, you may need to change the physical address on file with your account. Second, some smart TVs — like Roku — don’t have VPN apps you can install directly on the device itself. Instead, you’ll have to install the VPN on your router or the mobile hotspot you’re using (like your phone) so that any device on its Wi-Fi network now appears in the correct viewing location.
  • All of the VPN providers we recommend have helpful instructions on their main site for quickly installing the VPN on your router. In some cases with smart TV services, after you install a cable network’s sports app, you’ll be asked to verify a numeric code or click a link sent to your email address on file for your smart TV. This is where having a VPN on your router will also help, since both devices will appear to be in the correct location.
  • And remember, browsers can often give away a location despite using a VPN, so be sure you’re using a privacy-first browser to log into your services. We normally recommend Brave.

Packers vs. Jaguars predictions, picks, odds

Prediction: In many ways, the Jaguars look more talented on paper than the AFC South-leading Texans, especially considering all the injuries Houston was dealing with during the trip to Green Bay last week. The Packers say they aren’t taking this trip to Jacksonville lightly, but they have to prove it Sunday. This is an important test for a young but maturing team — can you go on the road and take care of business against what appears to be an inferior opponent, especially after an emotional home win last Sunday? Games against the Giants and Panthers late last year were disappointing but also immature performances. The difference in 2024? Jeff Hafley’s aggressive style on defense, and the blossoming confidence of Jordan Love and the offense. I think the Packers show why they are a different level of contender with a commanding performance on the road. Packers 30, Jaguars 20

WHAT HAPPENED IN THE TEXANS VS PACKERS GAME

The Texans got on the board first after Neville Hewitt intercepted Jordan Love and returned the ball to the Green Bay 11-yard line. Ka’imi Fairbairn punched through a field goal to give Houston a lead they held onto through the end of the opening quarter

Love recovered quickly after that initial pick. Following a five-play Green Bay drive that ended in a punt, the Texans moved 36 yards on eight plays and punted the ball back. Tucker Kraft got on the end of a 14-yard pass from Love to finish a 14-play drive that put the Packers up 7-3.

Stroud and the Texans were again halted on their next drive, but Tommy Townsend’s punt hit a Green Bay player and was recovered at the Packers’ 11-yard line by Houston. Two plays later, Joe Mixon rumbled into the endzone to give the visitors a 10-7 lead.

It wouldn’t last long, though. Three minutes later Dontayvion Wicks latched onto a 30-yard pass from Love to put the Packers up 14-10.

In 10 plays, Stroud drove the Texans 23 yards and into field goal range for Fairbairn, who nailed a 52-yarder to make the score 14-13 in favor of the Packers.

Love once again sought to fit the ball into a tight window on the next drive, but with Derek Stingley Jr. in tight coverage, he overthrew his receiver and Calen Bullock flew in to nab his third pick of the year.

This time Stroud and Mixon made sure the Texans finished in the endzone, with the running back powering four yards to put another six points on the board. Houston went for two but failed to convert, and the teams entered halftime with the visitors on top 19-14.

The Texans continued to have trouble moving the ball in the second half, and after a five-play drive moved backwards, Jordan Love and the Packers took 5:22 off the clock with a 10-play drive that ended with a pass to the right to Josh Jacobs, who found his way into the endzone.

With the Packers leading 21-19, both offenses struggled to create. Over the next six drives, the two teams combined to gain 49 yards total.

Then Stroud engineered a 41-yard drive that Fairbairn finished off with a 35-yard field goal, but 1:44 remained on the clock for Jordan Love.

Green Bay moved 39 yards and set Brandon McManus up for a 45-yard field goal to win the game win no time remaining.

The Texans return to Houston to face the Colts next Sunday before heading north again for a Thursday Night showdown with the New York Jets on Halloween.

If you’re a fan of MVP quarterbacks, look no further than Lambeau Field for the matchup of the afternoon.

The Houston Texans travel north for what could be a potential Super Bowl preview against the Green Bay Packers. Sitting at 5-1, a win for the Texans could mark the best start since 2012 thanks to stellar play from second-year gunslinger C.J. Stroud.

Meanwhile, the Packers remain in the hunt for the NFC North division behind second-year starter Jordan Love. Both passers entered the season as potential All-Pro options and favorites to win the league’s Most Valuable Player Award. A victory could solidify their status as a candidate to win the award, while the loser must pivot to potentially save their season.

Cardinals Fall To Packers On Dreary Day In Green Bay

Cardinals Fall To Packers On Dreary Day In Green Bay

THE STORY: GREEN BAY, Wisconsin – Kyler Murray was succinct, shaking his head at the “bonehead play after bonehead play” the Cardinals put on Lambeau Field on Sunday afternoon.

The least penalized team in the league nearly reached its season total for flags in one game. The TD-score-to-open games streak came to a jarring halt, ending on a miscommunication incompletion between Murray and Marvin Harrison Jr. that Murray said was his fault. The defense, looking to prevent big plays against Jordan Love and the Packers, gave up big plays.

The 34-13 loss was 24-0 before the Cardinals (2-4) could find their footing, and it couldn’t have been much more disappointing after an emotional road win the week before.

“This is upsetting,” defensive lineman L.J. Collier said. “We can win back-to-back games and we can do things like that. We have to execute. We have to put this (expletive) in motion, honestly.

“We’ve got everything we need in the building. We just have to play better.”

The Cardinals had an NFL-low 19 penalties before the game but committed 13 for 100 yards (and had one flag declined and another wiped out from offsetting fouls). Too many came pre-snap.

It was out of character for a Jonathan Gannon team, but indicative of a day that was often played under dark clouds and rain.

“We just didn’t compete smart enough today,” Gannon said.

That didn’t include the three lost fumbles, short-circuiting any hope of a rally. The Cardinals did force a Love interception by cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting, but the offense could only turn it into a field goal.

Love threw four touchdown passes for a second straight game, and the Packers had seven players with at least one rushing attempt while piling up 179 yards on the ground. Gannon noted the Cardinals didn’t do enough on the pass rush to affect Love, who too often had a long time to choose his target.

“We’ve got to go back to the drawing board,” linebacker Mack Wilson Sr. said. “If we want to be a playoff team, we’ve got to figure that (expletive) out.”

While the Packers were running, the Cardinals couldn’t. The deficit didn’t help, but the Cardinals totaled 89 yards on the ground with James Conner notching only 24 on seven carries before essentially sitting out the fourth quarter with the game out of reach.

Murray completed 22-of-32 passes for 214 yards and a touchdown to Michael Wilson. But his gaudy running average was held down – Murray had 14 yards on seven carries – and the turnovers wiped out potential drives.

“We play like that, we won’t beat anybody,” Murray said.

“There is no magic wand to wave. We just have to execute.”

Packers defeat Cardinals, 34-13

Packers defeat Cardinals, 34-13

Packers lead Cardinals 24-10 at halftime

The Packers began the second quarter with Love checking at the line of scrimmage and hitting Doubs on a back-shoulder throw that the third-year receiver extended into a 10-yard touchdown to extend Green Bay’s lead to 14-0 with 14:55 left in the first half. The 11-play, 80-yard drive lasted a season-long 6 minutes, 42 seconds.

The Packers forced a second three-and-out with Edgerrin Cooper tackling Trey Benson after a 1-yard gain on second-and-6. Green Bay dialed up an ILB blitz on third down, pressuring Murray into an incompletion.

On second-and-5, Tucker Kraft motions to the right perimeter while fellow tight end Ben Sims came free up the left sideline for a 28-yard gain. Sims had four career catches for 21 yards coming into Sunday.

A 9-yard pass to Kraft moved the ball past midfield. On fourth-and-2 from the Arizona 37, Love threw a perfect ball over the middle to Christian Watson for 22 yards.

Love completed eight straight passes prior to having a third-and-6 pass for Watson broken up in the end zone, but Brayden Narveson made a 36-yard field goal to push the Packers’ lead to 17-0 with 6:32 left in the first half.

Jaire Alexander broke up a slant pass to Marvin Harrison Jr. on first down. Harrison was slow to get up after the play, though he walked off under his own power. Arizona went three-and-out and punted. Reed initially fumbled during his return but there were off-setting penalties on board teams, including the Cardinals being whistled for a horse-collar tackle.

Keisean Nixon handled the next punt and registered a career-long 39-yard return to the Arizona 44. On the first play of the drive, Watson gained separation on a post and Love found him for a 44-yard TD to extend Green Bay’s lead to 24-0 with 4:32 left in the first half.

Penalties hurt the Packers on the Cardinals’ next possession, with Jaire Alexander being flagged for unnecessary roughness after a Murray scramble and Nixon getting an illegal hands to the face penalty at the end of an 8-yard Conner run.

Arizona was called for a holding penalty after a 2-yard Conner run, as the two-minute warning beckoned.

The Cardinals got on the board with an 18-yard TD pass to Wilson, cutting the deficit to 24-7 with 1:56 left in the first half.

Green Bay tried to mount a late drive but Bo Melton slipped out of the slot and Sean Murphy-Bunting picked off Love at the Packers’ 45. Arizona rebounded from a holding penalty on the first play of the series to mount a scoring drive, capped by a Chad Ryland 38-yard field goal to pull Arizona back within two scores, 24-10.

Packers hang on to beat Rams, 24-19

Packers take down Rams, 24-19, to move to 3-2

Karl Brooks sacked Stafford for a loss of eight on third-and-6 to start the fourth quarter, forcing the Rams to punt.

Starting from their own 7, the Packers converted their first two first downs off a 10-yard pass to Wicks and a 9-yard throw to Kraft. Love gave Green Bay its first third-down conversion with a 12-yard scramble on third-and-12 to the Green Bay 42.

Braden Fiske jumped offsides on third-and-5 to give the Packers a first down at the Rams’ 36. Green Bay punted from midfield with a little more than six minutes remaining.

Stafford led a 11-play, 91-yard scoring drive that ended with a 1-yard TD pass to DeMarcus Robinson with 3:30 left. The Packers maintained a 24-19 lead after stopping the two-point conversion on Carrington Valentine’s tackle of Tutu Atwell on an end-around.

Green Bay started the series with a 13-yard run by Josh Jacobs but were forced to punt with 3:10 left after Love’s deep ball for Wicks fell incomplete. The Rams took over at their 29 and converted on third-and-1 with a 7-yard Williams run.

Kenny Clark pressured Stafford into an incompletion on second-and-10 from the Rams’ 45. On the next play, Parkinson was tackled inches short of the first down as the game reached the two-minute warning.

Williams converted the fourth-and-1 run to the Green Bay 43. There was a 10-second runoff to 1:24 after it was ruled Whittington caught a 5-yard pass to the Packers’ 38. Brooks and Preston Smith registered a second sack of Stafford on the next play, causing LA to use its third and final timeout facing third-and-12 with 1:11 left.

After a 7-yard pass to Parkinson set up fourth-and-5, Cooper hit Stafford while he unsuccessfully fired a pass to Parkinson on a slant for the turnover on downs. Love kneeled out the win.

Vikings vs. Packers, NFL regular season Week 4

It’s time for the 128th border battle between the Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers.

The 3-0 Vikings are on the road for their first NFC North matchup of the season against the 2-1 Packers, who are getting back starting quarterback Jordan Love after being without him over the last two weeks. This should be quite the matchup between two talented, well-coached squads with their eyes on winning the division this year.

Despite Love returning, most of the other injury news favors the Vikings in this game. They’re getting Jordan Addison and Dallas Turner back, which adds to their depth on both sides of the ball. The Packers will be without top cornerback Jaire Alexander and another CB in Carrington Valentine, meaning their top corners will be Eric Stokes, Corey Ballentine, and Keisean Nixon against the Vikings’ talented WR trio of Justin Jefferson, Addison, and Jalen Nailor.

Sam Darnold’s strong start and Aaron Jones’ return to Lambeau Field are among the top storylines for a Vikings offense that’s going against a good Packers defense. On the other side of the ball, the chess match with Love and Matt LaFleur facing the Vikings’ red-hot, Brian Flores-led defense will be a fascinating one.

Follow along below for live updates throughout the game.

Read the recap here.

0:00 — The Packers scored again to make it a two-point game, but the Vikings recovered an onside kick and held on for the win.

6:13 — That was an odd decision from Jordan Love, who just lobbed a ball up into the end zone and had it picked off by Byron Murphy Jr.

Vikings 31, Packers 22

6:50 — The Vikings get a much-needed response from their offense, driving down to kick a field goal and make it a two-score game. Darnold completed his first four passes on that drive for 60 yards.

Vikings 28, Packers 22

10:16 — This one is suddenly extremely interesting. The Packers got a strip-sack and then got into the end zone two plays later. They also converted a two-point try to make it a six-point game. All the momentum and crowd noise is on their side.

Vikings 28, Packers 14

11:38 — This one ain’t over yet. The Packers score on a wide open Dontayvion Wicks touchdown to make it a two-score game. The Vikings have come up empty on four consecutive offensive possessions.

9:16 — The Vikings’ defense has come up with a couple stops early in this quarter. They just forced another Packers punt after a Darnold interception near the goal line.

Vikings 28, Packers 7

0:15 — The Packers have a bit of life. After a muffed punt by Jalen Nailor, Jordan Love hit Jayden Reed for a touchdown to get Green Bay on the board. They also get the ball to start the second half.

2:03 — That’s a turnover on downs for the Packers as we approach the 2-minute warning. They still haven’t scored.

Vikings 28, Packers 0

5:28 — Sam Darnold rifles a ball to Justin Jefferson for his third TD pass of the game. A great throw and a wild catch by Jefferson, who didn’t show his hands until the last moment. This is unreal.

5:55 — Shaq Griffin just picked off a deflected pass and nearly ran it back for a touchdown. Are you kidding me with this first half for the Vikings?

8:04 — Packers kicker Brayden Narveson just missed again. My goodness. Great plays by Pat Jones II and Camryn Bynum set up that 49-yard attempt.

Vikings 21, Packers 0

11:50 — Jordan Addison gets in the end zone for the second time in his return to action, this time on a end-around handoff where he juked Keisean Nixon out of his shoes. The Vikings are rolling.

0:20 — The Vikings, as they so often do, just snagged a takeaway. Kamu Grugier-Hill gets an interception for the second week in a row while filling in for Ivan Pace Jr. — and this couldn’t be going much better for Minnesota.

Vikings 14, Packers 0

1:37 — Two drives, two touchdowns for the Vikings. Sam Darnold hits Josh Oliver from two yards out, Darnold’s tenth TD pass of the season, and the Vikings are rolling again.

6:47 — The Packers moved the ball well on their opening drive, but it ends with a 37-yard field goal attempt that Brayden Narveson doinked off the right upright. That’s a great start for Minnesota.

Vikings 7, Packers 0

11:53 — Just like that, the Vikings start out perfectly again. Sam Darnold hit Jalen Nailor for 31 yards on 3rd and 14, then hit Jordan Addison for a 29-yard touchdown on the next play. Both guys were very open. That’s how you draw it up.

Titans Fall 30-14 to the Packers, Drop to 0-3

NASHVILLE – The rough start to the 2024 season continued on Sunday for the Tennessee Titans.

The Titans lost 30-14 to the Green Bay Packers before a sun-baked crowd at Nissan Stadium.

With the loss, the Titans dropped to 0-3.

“At the end of the day, I have not done a good enough job,” Coach Brian Callahan said after the game. “We’re an 0 and 3 football team, and I’m an 0 and 3 head coach. It’s embarrassing and disappointing. I have to be a lot better than I’ve been. This is frustrating and unfortunate, and not what I thought we were capable of to start the season.”

Quarterback Will Levis completed 26 of 34 passes for 260 yards and two touchdowns in the contest, but he was intercepted twice (one INT was returned for a touchdown) and he also fumbled while being sacked. Levis was under consistent pressure when he dropped back to throw it, and he was sacked eight times in the contest.

“It’s a great defense,” Levis said of the Packers, “but we definitely didn’t do our job on offense to the best of our ability.

“I’m this team’s quarterback, and every time we take the field and succeed or we’re defeated, I feel like it’s on me. I am a big part of that and I know that and I have to make sure I bring my A game every Sunday to not put our team in tough spots like I know that I have in these few games, turning the ball over. It’s tough. … I’m the quarterback of an 0 and 3 football team and that’s not something anybody wants to say.”

On this day, however, Tennessee’s No.1 ranked defense also couldn’t get stops when the team needed it.

Malik Willis started at quarterback for the Packers, and they started fast.

The Titans didn’t tackle well, and they didn’t make any game-changing plays as Green Bay controlled the ball, and the game. The Packers racked up 378 yards of offense compared to just 237 for the Titans.

“We have to be better,” safety Quandre Diggs. “We didn’t play well today.”

The Packers jumped ahead 7-0 on a five-yard touchdown run by Willis, which capped a long drive on their opening series.

But the Titans answered back quickly, as Levis guided a 10-play, 70-yard drive and capped it off with a one-yard touchdown pass to tight end Nick Vannett.

The rest of the day, however, was mostly filled with frustration.

The Packers jumped back ahead 10-7 on a 21-yard field goal by kicker Brayden Narveson, before making it 17-7 on a 35-yard interception return by Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander late in the first quarter.

A 26-yard field goal by Narveson on the final play of the first half gave the Packers a 20-7 lead at halftime.

The Packers extended their lead to 27-7 on a 30-yard touchdown pass from Willis to Emanuel Wilson with 8:25 left in the third quarter.

The Titans showed some life midway through the third quarter on a seven-play, 68-yard drive that was capped off with an 11-yard touchdown pass from Levis to receiver DeAndre Hopkins with 4:55 left in third.

But the Titans couldn’t sustain drives or stage a rally in the fourth quarter, and the Packers extended their lead to 30-14 with 3:29 left on a 47-yard field goal by Narveson.

The Titans return to action next Monday night at the Miami Dolphins.

“It’s a grown man’s league,” defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons said. “Nobody is going to come save us. At the end of the day, we have to man up. It don’t stop. We have to play a game on Monday night, and I’m sure they’re going to try and embarrass us on Monday night.”
