How to watch the Packers vs. Jaguars game online from anywhere using a VPN

If you find yourself unable to view the game locally due to incorrectly applied blackout restrictions, you may need a different way to watch the game and that’s where using a VPN can come in handy. A VPN is also the best way to stop your ISP from throttling your speeds on game day by encrypting your traffic, plus it’s a great idea for when you’re traveling and find yourself connected to a Wi-Fi network, and you want to add an extra layer of privacy for your devices and logins.

With a VPN, you’re able to virtually change your location on your phone, tablet or laptop to get access to the game. So if your internet provider or mobile carrier has stuck you with an IP address that incorrectly shows your location in a blackout zone, a VPN can correct that problem by giving you an IP address in your correct, nonblackout area. Most VPNs, like our Editors’ Choice, ExpressVPN, make it really easy to do this.

Using a VPN to watch or stream sports is legal in any country where VPNs are legal, including the US and Canada, as long as you’ve got a legitimate subscription to the service you’re streaming. You should be sure your VPN is set up correctly to prevent leaks: Even where VPNs are legal, the streaming service may terminate the account of anyone it deems to be circumventing correctly applied blackout restrictions.

ExpressVPN is our current best VPN pick for people who want a reliable and safe VPN, and it works on a variety of devices. It’s normally $13 a month, but if you sign up for an annual subscription for $100 you’ll get three months free and save 49%. That’s the equivalent of $6.67 a month with code SPECIALDEAL, which should be automatically applied.

Note that ExpressVPN offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.

How to watch Packers vs. Jaguars in the US

Sunday’s Packers vs. Jaguars game is on Fox nationally. The good news for football fans is that Fox is available on most of the major live TV streaming services. The least expensive such service is Sling TV Blue.

Sling/CNET

Sling TV’s Blue plan includes NBC, Fox and the NFL Network, though it does not have CBS, ABC or ESPN. Enter your address here to see which local channels are available where you live. NFL RedZone is also available for an extra $11 a month.

Note that to get ABC and ESPN, you’ll need to switch to the similarly priced Orange plan (which drops Fox, NBC and NFL Network) or go for the combined $60 a month Orange and Blue bundle that includes channels from both packages. With the combined plan, the Sports Extra add-on, which has RedZone, is an extra $15 a month.

One important caveat: In our experience, Fox local affiliates will only be available if your billing address is in one of the 18 metropolitan areas covered in Sling’s agreement. If you’re outside of one of these areas, you’re probably better off going with one of the alternate services listed below.

Numerous other live TV streaming services carry local Fox stations as well, namely YouTube TV, Hulu Plus Live TV, DirecTV Stream and Fubo. They all cost far more than Sling, but they also carry a full complement of live channels, including football broadcasting channels like CBS and ESPN. Check out our live TV streaming services guide for details.

Sarah Tew/CNET

For $73 a month, you’ll get all the major football channels with YouTube TV. Plus, RedZone is available for an extra $11 per month. Plug in your ZIP code on YouTube TV’s welcome page to see which local networks are available in your area.

Fubo

Fubo costs at least $92 per month when you factor in the RSN fees it charges, which you don’t need for NFL games but must pay for anyway. Fubo’s base plan costs $80 but it charges an extra $12 a month if you get one RSN or $15 a month if you have two or more in your area. RedZone is available for an extra $11 per month, and you can get 4K broadcasts with its $90-a-month Elite plan. It’s worth noting that Fubo has recently introduced a new $30 off for the first month offer for its Pro, Elite With Sports Plus and Deluxe plans. Click here to see which local channels you get in your region with Fubo. Read our Fubo review.

DirecTV

All the live TV streaming services above offer free trials, allow you to cancel anytime and require a solid internet connection. Looking for more information? Check out our live TV streaming services guide.

An over-the-air antenna connected to your TV provides another option for Fox. The best part about antennas is that there are no streaming or monthly fees required, although you will need to make sure you have good reception.

Quick tips for streaming the Packers vs. Jaguars game using a VPN

  • With four variables at play — your ISP, browser, video streaming provider and VPN — experience and success may vary.
  • If you don’t see your desired location as a default option for ExpressVPN, try using the “search for city or country” option.
  • If you’re having trouble getting the game after you’ve turned on your VPN and set it to the correct viewing area, there are two things you can try for a quick fix. First, log into your streaming service subscription account and make sure the address registered for the account is an address in the correct viewing area. If not, you may need to change the physical address on file with your account. Second, some smart TVs — like Roku — don’t have VPN apps you can install directly on the device itself. Instead, you’ll have to install the VPN on your router or the mobile hotspot you’re using (like your phone) so that any device on its Wi-Fi network now appears in the correct viewing location.
  • All of the VPN providers we recommend have helpful instructions on their main site for quickly installing the VPN on your router. In some cases with smart TV services, after you install a cable network’s sports app, you’ll be asked to verify a numeric code or click a link sent to your email address on file for your smart TV. This is where having a VPN on your router will also help, since both devices will appear to be in the correct location.
  • And remember, browsers can often give away a location despite using a VPN, so be sure you’re using a privacy-first browser to log into your services. We normally recommend Brave.

Week 8 Colts vs. Texans Game Open Thread

Week 8 Colts vs. Texans Game Open Thread

The Indianapolis Colts are on the road to take on the Houston Texans for their week eight game, Sunday at 1 p.m. EST.

The Colts come into week eight having won four of their last five. A lot of Colts fans (and writers/bloggers/podcasters/YouTubers) have been riding that high and I feel like I’m living on an island, all alone, with my firm belief that this Colts team is not as good as it’s record. Don’t get me wrong, I’m really happy this team is above .500 in late October. That is fantastic. But had the Colts not played a rookie in his third game (Caleb Williams), a retread that has since been benched for what’s left of Russell Wilson (Justin Fields), Will Levis and the all-star combo that was Tyler Huntley and Tim Boyle last week against the Dolphins, well I’m not sure this team would have won any of those games. But the fact of the matter is, you can only play who is on your schedule and the Colts went out and won those games.

So I don’t mean to take anything away from the team.

This week I’ve seen people point out that the Texans only won by two points in week one and how last week C.J. Stroud threw for a career low 86 yards. They’re missing a great wide receiver in Nico Collins and their defense is missing multiple star players as well. And that’s all true but this Colts defense is bad. Very, very bad. Zaire Franklin is playing the worst football of his career. He isn’t getting off blocks and I don’t care how many tackles he ended up with last week, how many of them came before the back was 4-6 yards beyond the line of scrimmage? You don’t need to actually go look, it wasn’t many. Even the defense’s best plays from a week ago were from fluky fumbles that were caused after a Miami back had already picked up a big chunk of yards.

Had the Colts played better quarterbacks, frankly, I don’t know that they would have won a single game this year. And yes I just got done lambasting the run defense and you might be wondering how I’m making that connection. That’s fair. But when the Colts do manage to prevent the opposing running back from picking up a first down on either first or second down runs, often that opposing team chooses to throw on third down. Bad quarterbacks don’t often convert on third down. C.J. Stroud, despite his play last week and Collins’ absence, is unfortunately, a very good quarterback.

After watching Anthony Richardson last week, I also feel completely alone in the online Colts world. First let me say, Richardson was bad. There. Got that out of the way.

But it is wild to me the way people are talking about why he was bad.

I feel like I’m the only one who remembers week two against the Green Bay Packers. When he was sailing passes to wide open receivers and then when asked about it, he more or less said that he was working through things too quickly, getting excited and trying to rush the throw which was making the ball come out wildly.

So last week was it the same thing? No! His throws were mostly on target. He had one or two off target throws, but every quarterback will have one or two they’d like back. So what was it last week? Everything he threw came out late. He slowed down, way down, too slow. He worked his reads, found the open man, got his feet right and threw the ball. The problem wasn’t his accuracy it was that from the time he found his receiver to when he actually made the throw it took too much time, allowing the defensive backs to make a jump and break up the passes.

THIS IS FANTASTIC NEWS!

Not because the result was bad. Not because the balls were deflected. Not because we had to listen to another week of narrative based “analysis” but because he took a problem he had the last time he played a full game and he fixed it in the next one. He is working through a problem he (and probably his coaches) identified and he’s fixing things week to week. This is what progression looks like. It isn’t always that things just get better. Sometimes you have to suck at something in a different way before you figure out what works and the process is happening right in front of our eyes and it sure feels like everyone is missing it.

Little known online fact about me (I think) I coached gymnastics for almost a decade. I mostly coached bars and floor (I’m a big guy who was good at spotting the kids, I was most useful on those two events) but every now and then I would find myself working with kids on vault or beam. I, after a near decade of coaching, still don’t know that much about beam, I won’t get into it here but just know, I don’t. The one thing I do know is that when a kid is learning a new skill and is consistently falling off of the beam on the same side, you convince them to fall off of the beam on the other side. Every time I told a kid to fail, but just differently, I would get confused looks and every time they successfully fell off the beam on the “other” side, I would then tell them to split the difference and land on the beam the next time they did the skill. And guess what? Normally that worked.

Sometimes you have to fail multiple ways to understand how you can succeed, before you actually succeed.

I don’t know if Anthony Richardson is going to be a good quarterback. I hope he will be. But I am sure that he is progressing and it feels like no one in the football world is noticing.

Either way I expect the Colts to lose this game, mostly due to the defense. Unless Richardson puts it all together this week (unlikely) and the offense is dominant, I expect this to be a rough watch for Colts fans. I hope I’m wrong.

Packers vs. Jaguars predictions, picks, odds

Prediction: In many ways, the Jaguars look more talented on paper than the AFC South-leading Texans, especially considering all the injuries Houston was dealing with during the trip to Green Bay last week. The Packers say they aren’t taking this trip to Jacksonville lightly, but they have to prove it Sunday. This is an important test for a young but maturing team — can you go on the road and take care of business against what appears to be an inferior opponent, especially after an emotional home win last Sunday? Games against the Giants and Panthers late last year were disappointing but also immature performances. The difference in 2024? Jeff Hafley’s aggressive style on defense, and the blossoming confidence of Jordan Love and the offense. I think the Packers show why they are a different level of contender with a commanding performance on the road. Packers 30, Jaguars 20

The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up well over $7,000 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception. The model enters Week 7 of the 2024 NFL season on an incredible 11-3 hot streak on top-rated NFL picks this year. Longer term, it is on a 192-132 roll on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season and a 46-24 roll on top-rated NFL picks since Week 7 of 2022.

For Ravens vs. Browns, the model is backing Baltimore to cover the spread. Jackson is a dual-threat playmaker under center who makes things tough on defenses. This season, he’s fifth in the NFL in passing yards (1,810) and tied for second in passing touchdowns (15). Last week, Jackson went 17-of-22 for 281 yards and five passing touchdowns. Cleveland is 13th in the NFL in total defense (317.9), giving up 23.1 points per game on average.

Running back Derrick Henry is another explosive playmaker on Baltimore’s offense. Henry leads the NFL in carries (134), rushing yards (873), and rushing touchdowns (8). He’s notched 130-plus yards four times in 2024, a big reason why the model has the Ravens covering in over 50% of simulations. You may be able to stream the game here.

The Falcons are -135 money line favorites (risk $135 to win $100), while the Buccaneers are +115 underdogs. Before making any Buccaneers vs. Falcons picks,  you need to see the NFL predictions and betting advice from the proven computer model at SportsLine.

The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up well over $7,000 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception. Why the Falcons can cover

Three weeks ago, Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins threw for 509 yards and four touchdowns in a stunning comeback effort by Atlanta against Tampa Bay. Top wide receiver Drake London had 12 catches for 154 yards and a score while No. 2 WR Darnell Mooney caught nine passes for 105 yards and two touchdowns. While it’s unlikely that this week’s matchup will be as high scoring as we saw earlier this month, the Falcons definitely had their way with Tampa through the air.

A key for the Falcons going forward will be the success of top running back Bijan Robinson. Over the last two games, he has rushed for a combined 198 yards and three touchdowns, achieving two of his best performances this season to date. On the season, the second-year phenom has 684 combined yards and four touchdowns, and it would be to Atlanta’s benefit if they utilized their most elusive weapon more often going forward. See which team to pick here.

Why the Buccaneers can cover

Tampa Bay has an uphill battle after losing both of its top receivers to serious injuries on Monday night. Future Hall of Famer Mike Evans was lost to a hamstring injury in the second quarter vs. Baltimore and will miss at least the next three games. Chris Godwin, who led the team with 50 receptions and 576 yards, sustained a nasty ankle injury on the team’s final series in garbage time and will likely miss the rest of the 2024 season. But quarterback Baker Mayfield is playing well enough to overcome these crucial losses.

On the season, Mayfield has thrown for 1,859 yards and 18 touchdowns, which ranks second and first respectively in the league. Tampa Bay will utilize top running back Rachaad White as a receiving threat out of the backfield considering he had 549 yards through the air in 2023 and already 198 this season. Tight end Cade Otton, who ranks third on the team with 41 targets and 263 yards, should also expect to see more utilization at least until Evans returns. See which team to pick here.

How to make Falcons vs. Buccaneers picks

The model has simulated Atlanta vs. Tampa Bay 10,000 times and the results are in. It is leaning Over on the point total, and it also says one side of the spread hits more than 50% of the time. You can only see the model’s Falcons vs. Buccaneers pick at SportsLine.

So who wins Bucs vs. Falcons on Sunday, and which side of the spread hits more than 50% of the time? Visit SportsLine right now to see which side of the Falcons vs. Buccaneers spread you should be all over Sunday, all from the model on a 193-134 roll on its top-rated NFL picks, and find out.

3 Takeaways from Jets vs. Steelers in Week 7

3 Takeaways from Jets vs. Steelers in Week 7

The Jets (2-5) lost to the Steelers (5-2), 37-15, in Pittsburgh in Week 7 on Sunday night. Here are three takeaways from the game.

Momentum Swing Before Halftime
Nearing the end of the first half, it seemed as if the Jets were on the verge of breaking the dam in Pittsburgh and climbing out to an insurmountable lead. Up by 15-6 with 1:21 remaining in the first half, QB Aaron Rodgers fired a ball over the middle of the field intended for WR Garrett Wilson that was deftly intercepted by Steelers rookie S Beanie Bishop at the Pittsburgh 46-yard line.

Bishop corralled the interception with one hand and put a pin into the Jets’ scoring chance. He, instead, gave newfound life to the home team, which scored the game’s final 31 points. QB Russell Wilson’s first touchdown pass as a Steeler came 5 plays after the pick with 32 seconds remaining in the half when he connected with WR George Pickens for an 11-yard score.

“Going into this game, we knew momentum would be a big part of it, especially the environment we’re playing in,” interim HC Jeff Ulbrich said. “In these games you can’t give up those plays because it’s a huge shift in momentum. If you do make them, you got to fight your ass off to fix it. We didn’t do that well enough. This has got to be an opportunity that we can grow from and become the team we’re capable of becoming because that is absolutely not good enough the way we reacted to the adversity.

“I felt like guys were fighting. I felt like execution was not good enough. I felt like we went into the mode of trying too hard. Sometimes that’s just as dangerous as not trying hard enough.”

Ravens 41, Bucs 31 – Bucs Lose to Baltimore Ravens in Week 7

Ravens 41, Bucs 31 – Bucs Lose to Baltimore Ravens in Week 7

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers fell to the visiting Baltimore Ravens in Week Seven, 41-31. Overall, Baker Mayfield completed 31-of-45 attempts for 370 yards and threw three touchdowns and two interceptions for a 97.5 quarterback rating. The Buccaneers marched down the field on their opening drive, courtesy of a conversion on fourth-and-one off an 11-yard jet sweep by Jalen McMillan. The next play, Mike Evans capped off the eight-play, 70-yard scoring drive with a 25-yard touchdown – becoming the 11th player in NFL history to hit 100 career touchdown receptions. The Buccaneers defense followed suit, forcing a quick Ravens’ exit. Calijah Kancey dropped Derrick Henry in the backfield for a loss on first down and both Yaya Diaby and Antoine Winfield Jr. were credited with sacks on the two ensuing plays. On second down, Diaby came inside on a loop and dropped Lamar Jackson for a loss of eight yards and Winfield Jr. forced the punt on third down.

On the next possession, Mayfield hit McMillan, who boxed out defenders for a first down conversion. A roughing the passer penalty set the Bucs’ up at the Baltimore 34-yard-line. A shifty 14-yard gain by Bucky Irving post-catch helped set up Chris Godwin’s eight-yard touchdown. However, a holding penalty nullified the scored and led to an ensuing Chase McLaughlin 23-yard field goal, giving the home team a 10-0 advantage.

On the next drive, Baltimore marched down the field off a 14-yard gain by Charlie Kolar, an 11-yard scramble by Jackson and a 10-yard pickup by Isaiah Likely. Jackson finished the six-play, 70-yard scoring drive with a nine-yard touchdown pass to Mark Andrews, making it a 10-7 game.

Following a deep incompletion to Evans on the Bucs’ next offensive series, Godwin picked up the first on third down with a gain of 15 off a slant. The drive ended with a Marlon Humphrey interception in the end zone for a touchback. The Ravens followed up with a four-play, 80-yard scoring drive, courtesy of a 59-yard explosive play. Jackson rolled out of the pocket and scrambled to the right, keeping his eyes downfield. He threw the ball down the field to Rashod Bateman and the Ravens cashed in with a Jackson connection with Justice Hill on an 18-yard touchdown.

The Bucs’ next drive ended promptly with a turnover. Mayfield was intercepted by Humphrey at the Baltimore 40-yard line, putting Jackson and company right back on the field. Just before the half, Justin Tucker kicked a 28-yard field goal, extending the Ravens’ lead 17-10. After the Bucs started10-0 and outgained the Ravens 140-8, the tide shifted as the Ravens put up 17 unanswered and outgained the Bucs, 225-78 to conclude the first half.

Coming out of the half, Trucker drilled a 52-yard field goal, extending the Ravens’ lead, 20-10. On the following drive for Tampa Bay, the Bucs sent out Chase McLaughlin from fourth-and-four at the Baltimore 37 to attempt a 55-yard field goal. The attempt was no good, keeping the Ravens with a 10-point advantage. The Ravens then moved down the field on a four-play, 55-yard scoring drive. Bateman worked over the top of the Bucs’ defense and Jackson heaved a deep 49-yard bomb to Bateman, who hauled in the grab for a touchdown, giving the Ravens a 27-10 lead. The Bucs next drive ended with a third-down sack of Mayfield by Odafe Oweh, forcing a punt. The Ravens put the exclamation mark on their lead, with a subsequent 92-yard scoring drive in five plays, spearheaded by an 81-yard run by Henry. He quickly bounced to the outside and accelerated down the left sideline. Henry was pushed out of bounds by Zyon McCollum, and the Ravens capitalized with a four-yard Andrews touchdown.

An unorthodox turn of events to begin the fourth shifted the momentum to the Bucs. A Jackson fumble and ensuing recovery by McCollum, put Mayfield and company back on the field. In what initially appeared to be a sensational touchdown in which half the defense pushed McCollum back into the end zone, was called back. He was ruled down, but the Bucs cashed in on the turnover with a White touchdown and successful two-point attempt to trim the deficit, 34-18. The Ravens immediately responded with an eight-play, 70-yard scoring drive of their own, culminating in a Derrick Henry 13-yard touchdown. He was wide open in the flat and Jackson passed to his favorite target, who turned upfield and crossed the goal line. On that play, the Ravens exceeded 500 total net yards and extended their lead, 41-18.

Late in the fourth, Bucky Irving plunged into the end zone on a one-yard touchdown rush after Cade Otton made a physical grab to bring the Bucs to first-and-goal. Mayfield was sacked on the two-point attempt, keeping the score at 41-24. Tavierre Thomas then recovered the onside kick, putting the Bucs’ offense right back on the field. The unit capitalized with a 23-yard touchdown. Mayfield hit White, who was wide-open in the flat and turned north after the catch. The Bucs trailed by 10, 41-31 after too many miscues sealed the team’s fate.

What we learned in Atlanta’s Week 7 loss

What we learned in Atlanta’s Week 7 loss

Penalties proved to be an issue

Penalties and miscues hindered the Falcons at the start of the season, and they returned against the Seahawks. Atlanta committed nine penalties setting them back 72 yards. The timing of those penalties was impactful, stalling drives for the Falcons’ offense and keeping the Seahawks’ drives alive.

For comparison, the Falcons had only four penalties in their win against the Panthers last week. Penalties were a factor for Atlanta from the very start. Three flags were thrown for false starts against three different players on the Falcons’ opening possession, including back-to-back penalties on third down.

The Falcons got the penalty yardage from the first flag back on a 10-yard reception to Kyle Pitts that turned a 1st-and-15 into a second and manageable. But then the back-to-back penalties forced a punt after a failed third-down conversion. Atlanta’s offense didn’t find a consistent rhythm throughout the game, and penalties played a big part in that.

Falcons got a sack, but gave up explosive plays

Coming into the matchup the Falcons’ defense had been among the best in the league at containing explosive plays through the air. Seattle’s No. 1 passing offense posed a threat and took advantage, hitting multiple big plays downfield. The Seahawks finished the game with 236 total passing yards, which did fall shy of their 276.7 season average, but they largely ran the ball in the fourth quarter with a lead in hand.

Smith spread the ball around to six different receivers, four had receptions of at least 15 yards. After not registering a sack in Week 6 against the Carolina Panthers, the Falcons generated consistent pressure on Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith and managed to get him on the ground. James Smith-Williams, who started for injured outside linebacker Lorenzo Carter, recorded a sack for a 6-yard loss in the second quarter. Defensive tackle Grady Jarrett also pressured Smith multiple times, but he did not have a sack in the game.

All told, some of the Seahawks’ biggest plays in the game came when Smith was under pressure but managed to slip away from Falcons’ defenders. As the defense prepares for another important matchup next week, its ability to get to the quarterback will once again be a topic of conversation.

Injuries to the offensive line

Left guard Matthew Bergeron and center Ryan Neuzil left the game after sustaining injuries. Neuzil was accompanied by trainers as he walked off the field under his own power in the second quarter, and third-string center Matt Hennessy, who started 22 games for the Falcons from 2020-22 entered the game. The substitution didn’t slow down Atlanta’s rushing attack, though, as Bijan Robinson scored the Falcons’ first touchdown of the game later on the same drive.

Neuzil returned later in the second quarter after he was evaluated for a possible head injury. Starter Drew Dalman went down with an ankle injury in Week 3 and was subsequently placed on injured reserve. Neuzil has been starting for the Falcons since. Bergeron left the game on the Falcons’ first drive of the second half and was evaluated for a possible head injury. He was cleared for a possible concussion, but he did not return to the game due to a neck injury. Reserve left guard Kyle Hinton played the remainder of the action for Atlanta’s offense.

Bijan Robinson matches rookie rushing touchdown total

In his rookie season, Bijan Robinson scored four rushing touchdowns. It took only seven games for Robinson to match that total in his second year. He scored the touchdown on a 5-yard run in the second quarter; it was his third in the previous two games. Robinson finished the game with 143 total yards — 103 rushing and 40 receiving — and the touchdown against the Seahawks. The running back broke away for multiple plays of 20 yards or more against Seattle’s defense, including gains of 26 yards as a runner and receiver.

In just the first half, Robinson recorded 80 of his total 103 rushing yards. Robinson also averaged an impressive 4.9 yards per carry. Tyler Allgeier added 36 yards to the Falcons’ 155 total rushing yards.

2024 Week 7 Game Report

Thomas, the No. 23 overall selection in the 2024 NFL Draft, caught five passes for 89 yards and one touchdown. He caught a two-point conversion following Washington’s punt return to give the Jaguars a 22-10 halftime lead.

“There has been a lot of emphasis on sticking together and playing for one another,” Thomas said. “We didn’t have the start we maybe wanted, but we kept playing and stuck together.”

The Jaguars scored 25 consecutive points after trailing 10-0 early in the second quarter.

“Nobody was like, ‘Here we go again’ or had negative thoughts,” Pederson said. “It was just one play at a time to work ourself back in it. We showed the complimentary aspect of the game today in all three phases. That’s the spark that hopefully can get this thing going.”

Bigsby rushed for 118 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries, and the Jaguars outrushed New England 171-38. The Jaguars had a 364-295 total yardage advantage for the game.

“We ran the ball great today,” Lawrence said. “That always helps.”

Bigsby’s four-yard run with 1:41 remaining gave the Jaguars their final margin.

Patriots rookie quarterback Drake Maye completed 26 of 37 passes for 276 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions.

The Jaguars registered no takeaways and two sacks Sunday, giving them two defensive takeaways for the season with 15 sacks. Linebacker Devin Lloyd registered a first-quarter sack and defensive end Travon Walker sacked Maye just before the two-minute warning to force fourth-and-26 from the Patriots 10.

Maye threw incomplete from there to clinch the Jaguars’ victory.

Maye threw incomplete from there to clinch the Jaguars’ victory, a victory that came a week after a one-sided loss to the Chicago Bears at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

“We just needed to win a game,” Pederson said. “We love coming over here, but it didn’t matter where. I’m proud of the guys, and proud of the coaches for the way we worked over here.

“It was a good way to finish this little run.”
